Approximately 1 in 6 Australians have a disability. The National Disability insurance scheme (NDIS) provides support for Australians with permanent and significant disability building skills and capability to participate in work and the community.
The NDIS system funds Exercise physiology Services. Exercise physiologists have specific knowledge on the best interventions needed for chronic conditions. Our team sees a range of clients with disabilities including (but not limited to):
Each client is different, so every exercise intervention is unique and targeted to meet individual’s needs and personal goals. We strive on working towards independence and improving health and wellbeing.
Depending on clients needs sessions can be conducted in the gym, at a client’s home or at a hydrotherapy centre.
